Chlorophyll	The green colour of a plant helps it absorb light and produce sugar and starch   for the plant to eat
Nutrients	The food for the plant Soil,Sugar,
Photosynthesis	The process of the plants food
Watermelon	A type of food made of water and pink flesh
Climate	The weather found in a certain place over a long period of time is known as the climate.

Tidy Numbers Strategy

Walt: we are learning to use the making ten strategy Tidy numbers strategy. 1. 8+7=15

7-2=5 take the 2 and add it to the 8.

I know that 8+2=10.
So I take the 5 and add it to the 10.

So 5+10=15

2. 9+6=15

6-1=5 take the 1 and add it to the 9.

I know that 9+1=10.
So I take the 5 and add it to the 10.

So 5+10=15

Use the strategy I showed you to work out this 27+15 My favourite part was adding the numbers to work the equals out

Number bonds

Walt: We are learning number bonds to 10,20,50 and 100

Number Bonds 

1. To 10
    3+7=10
    4+6=10

2. To 20
    5+15=20
    8+12=20

3. To 50
    9+41=50
    1+49=50

4. To 100
    0+100=100
    3+97=100

5. What is a Number bond?
    A Number bond is two numbers that make a tidy number.

I liked doing number bonds because I got to add numbers together to make a tidy number.

My holidays

Walt: We are learning to write creative story's. 

During the holidays Me and my family drove to Auckland. We drove to Auckland to Danny's new school , called Auckland Grammar. After we got to Auckland we were driving around for about fifteen minutes. We were trying to find our cousins house. Eventually we found the house. We walked in said ‘hi’ and I went to Liam's room.  I played rocket league. After a couple of hours  I finally got off the PS4 , just to go to bed. The next morning me and my dad decided to go to jump. Around 3;00pm in the afternoon we finally arrived at our destination, Jump! We only got to go for one hour. When we got there we ordered jump socks, then started to jump. I acted dramatically walking on the first bounce pad. First I played basketball and I dunked on everyone including Danny. After 15 minutes I decided to line up for a game of dodgeball. I was eliminated in the first couple of minutes  go really annoyed , so I tried to do the Super hard Ninja course. A random employee came up to me and kicked me off , even though I paid for it. Then he showed me an easier skill course. It was still hard. My hour was all most up so I stopped and did the wall climb. You have to jump on a trampoline and climb the wall. I climbed it twice , then jumped down and hurt my back. Then my time was up. I hope I get to do that again sometime.

I though was hard was when writing it creatively.
